FAQ

You found it. This is our FAQ place. We’ve put together a list of questions that we regularly get asked. Read on, you may find an answer to a question you’ve always wondered about or you may just see a question that you hadn’t thought about. Even if it’s a refresher course, we think it’s all valuable information that will help you in the printing process.

1. When will my job be ready?
Since each job is it’s own custom project there isn’t a standard answer. Each job has it’s own variables and therefore it’s own production timeline. Our goal is complete customer satisfaction. Our Account Representatives will talk with you about your scheduling needs and confirm that we can get the job done when you want it and how you want it.

2. When I look at a proof, what should I be looking at?
A proof allows you to verify that your project has been set up correctly. This includes the typeset, alignment and positioning. On multiple color jobs, a color proof allows you to see how the colors will appear. Usually we produce an online or paper proof that can be sent to you.

3. Do I need a proof if I’ve already checked the information on the disk I provided?
We know how important your order is, that’s why proofs are a part of our quality control process. There’s always a chance of human error, so your approval on the final proof is a way to let us know that you’ve looked over everything we’ve done and it meets with your satisfaction. If there are any errors, it’s better to catch them in the proofing process then after the job is completed and delivered. Output devices process digital information using different processing languages. So your approval of the final proof verifies that the output device has correctly interpreted and processed the information provided on disk. Proofing is an important part of the process that can save money, time and headaches. We suggest that you always see a proof.

4. How do I get started?
It’s easy to request an estimate online. Simply go to our Request a Quote from J2 page fill out the form and one of our Account Representatives will email you an estimate. We’d also love to talk with you. This is the best way for our Account Representatives to get the necessary information to give you an accurate quote. Give us a call – we can’t wait to hear about your next project.
